Chiropractic
Our chiropractors are there to help adults and children ‐ even babies
· Myth #1: Chiropractors are too rough for babies and children.
We have a special approach for our little ones ‐ find out more about chiropractic care for Babies & Children. Some adults need the gentle touch too (more about Adults).
· Myth #2: Chiropractors just fix backs and necks
Many assume that chiropractic care is just about sorting out back and neck problems. But that is just the beginning. We can also:
· enhance fertility
· relieve headaches & dizziness
· boost your immune system
· speed up recovery after an injury or repetitive strain
· relieve pain in various areas of your body
· sharpen and lengthen your concentration span
· and more…
What is chiropractic care?
Put simply, an unhealthy spine can lead to an unhealthy nervous system, which can lead to an unhealthy body. Any misalignment of your spine can interfere with the messages carried by your spinal nerves to other areas of your anatomy, such as a specific muscle or organ. Chiropractic care adjusts the body structure to optimise movement, strength, flexibility and co‐ordination (who doesn't want that?). This works by improving and enhancing joint
movement and nerve function for the whole of you.
What does an adjustment feel like?
Really good! Chiropractic treatment is specific, gentle and safe. At Embrace Life our chiropractor's utilise a variety of different techniques depending on what your needs are. For instance, we would approach a newborn differently to a professional athlete.
If you have tried a chiropractor in the past…
…and haven't felt comfortable with their approach or techniques, please try us. At Embrace Life, your treatment will be designed to suit what feels right for you.
