Baby Reflexology
What can baby reflexology help with?
Babies who suffer from:
• colic pain
• reflux
• asthma
• digestive problems
• constipation
• feeding problems
• sleeping problems, etc.
It also helps to boost and strengthen the immune system if the baby has been unwell. As
baby grows, reflexology can help with the pain associated with teething and insect bites.
What is baby reflexology?
Reflexology is a gentle therapy working with the hands and feet to promote the natural body
functions. It works by focusing on reflex points that are connected to every part of the body.
Baby reflexology has been adjusted to take in the size and wellbeing of the baby. Done in a
class situation with up to six participants, parents or guardians are taught by a qualified baby reflexology therapist, how to give their babies calming reflexology, which can be used at any time, anywhere.
How does it feel?
The babies tend to enjoy the feel of having their feet played with and massaged. By the parents being consistent with giving their baby their daily dose of reflexology, the effects are far reaching, as this is a bonding therapy as well so the family enjoys it as much as baby.
Who can have it?
Babies from four weeks of age can have 5 minutes of very light pressure reflexology up to 3 times a day. Toddlers also can have reflexology. But the younger they start, the better.
